Born in Santa Barbara and subsequent world traveler, Fallon has completed two BAs at UC Santa Cruz respectively in Philosophy and World Literature and Culture. She worked in Japan as an English ALT in various elementary schools in Ibaraki Prefecture between 2016 and 2017. She then attended the MA in Publishing programme at City, University of London from 2017 to 2019, with a dissertation on neuroatypical workers in the publishing and creative arts industry.
Fallon then began working at the Chicana/o Studies Department in March 2020.
Her interests include expanding and amplifying voices from diverse and marginalized communities in children's literature and YA literature, examining fan spaces within multimedia and online digital communities, and postcolonial philosophy.
